My client, Celeste Eismann, asked to design and develop a fully customized author website to support her debut book launch and establish a scalable platform for future publications. I conducted in-depth research on the author’s book, genre, target audience, and comparable websites to define a strong strategic foundation and cohesive brand direction. Created the overall visual identity, including layout design, color palette selection, typography, and a custom logo to ensure a timeless and professional presence. Developed wireframes and refined the user experience through multiple design iterations, focusing on clarity, readability, and intuitive navigation. Designed original graphics and curated complementary visual assets to strengthen visual storytelling. Built the site with clean, functional code, integrated subtle animations for engagement, and optimized performance across devices. Ensured full responsiveness for desktop and mobile, followed by thorough testing, cross-browser checks, and final refinements to deliver a polished, launch-ready platform.
